Hello, I have a problem when I try to install a service in the Dolphin explorer. When the service is installed, it isn’t show it in the service panel of dolphin, and also in the right-click menu… I had the same problem with Kubuntu and Linux Mint, and now with OpenSUSE, so, it’s very borring !

What do you mean with “service in Dolphin” Please at least name one of those “services” you try to add to Dolphin, Explain what you did to “install it in Dolphin”. What you then expect to see/happen.

I want to install the “root action service menu” : the installation works but there aren’t any of these services which are showed in the Services Panel… On Linux Mint, root action was included but I wasn’t able to install the dropbox ServiceMenu for exemple. In fact, the installation works, but the activation of services is impossible because there aren’t showed in the panel.
I have already read the post on kde.com and the “konqpopupmenuplugin.desktop” is here.

Works here on openSUSE 13.2 with KDE4 and Leap with KF5.

Krusader and Dolphin show the Servicemenue.
The file “rootactions-servicemenu.pl” is already in the bin folder. And Ruby is insalled. I’ve join 2 screenshot with my problem…

Can not say what is going wrong with your Service.
Here it works.
Did you restart dolphin, Plasma or your PC?
Try to uninstall it with the Script deinstall.sh and install it once more?
No result… Now, I can see a notification which say “Installation falled” when I attempt to install some service such as “Get Youtube videos”. I have this message when use Dolphin in User mode or in Root mode (with “kdesu dolphin” comand). For other services, there aren’t any error messages, but there don’t work.
So it is a general Error with your Installation, not only with this Package.
Tomorow, I’ll reinstall openSUSE…
I’ve sucessfully reinstalled OpenSUSE, but the problem of dolphin services is still here…
Does the service show up in Konqueror or dolphin4?
