Ah, good to hear. Just for clarification, libgphoto2 contains the necessary tools for generating the newer udev rules. (I wasn’t clear on that previously, because I was just coming up to speed with it myself). Anyway the required rules can be generated using the command outlined here
Alternatively, the minimal rules file can be created manually.
