Prevent windows on other workspace from keeping panel out.

[FONT=&quot]My panel is set to auto hide.
Whenever a window on another workspace wants focus, it holds the panel open. In my experience this behaviour is buggy, and often my panel is held visible for longer that wanted.
How can I prevent window focus from every opening my panel. Honestly I dont care about window focus from another desktop, so I would be cool with disabling it all together.
Like everything on Plasma, its a cool feature, but it doesn’t really function.

Same here.

I find that annoying. But suspect that it is considered a feature rather than a bug.

I do not know how to prevent this behavior.

I guess this is about KDE? (the OP did not tell, but I know nrickert is a KDE user).

In that case maybe asking in KDE forums (or even bugzilla) might be a good idea.

Plasma” is KDE …

Yes, instead of mentioning it right away, it is at the end of a post that can not be interpreted without knowing it. :frowning:

There’s this KDE Bug Report – old, but, reactivated this year – <394119 – Panel should not stop auto-hiding even when a window wants attention;
