Powertop suggestions

Hi guys, I’m running opensuse tumbleweed on my Vaio Pro 13. After running powertop for a while I get this:

Since on this notebook I have a flash-ssd drive is it safe to accept the suggestion about
“SATA link power menagment” ?
and what about “WM writeback” safety for my ssd? (on the screenshot is good but at the start is often marked as “Bad”)

What about the other suggestions?

Thank you all

Why didn’t you ask this in the Tumbleweeed forum?
Shall I move it there?

I thought It was more related to applications than to tumbleweed, that’s the reason I’ve posted here.

You must realize that most people using the standard openSUSE version(s) will not even try to answer you here, because they are not used to Tumbleweed and have thus no idea what the influence of using Tumbleweed is on any aspect. They also can not try to re-create your problem because they do not have Tumbleweed running. In the other hand, your fellow Tumbleweed users, who at least know what using Tumbleweed means, are of course in the Tumbleweed forums (and maybe only occasionally here).

I remember this https://sysrich.co.uk/intel-power-management-on-opensuse-tumbleweed/ and wrote it behind ears.

With more recent releases of openSUSE, I’ve been experimenting with my old tweaks, and found that they NO LONGER help with power management – In fact, they seem to increase it

So what to do depends on openSUSE version, updates included, and specific hardware = be careful not to follow internet advise unless someone has same setup as you. At least same chipset.

He is openSUSE community manager or something btw. Think he also have posted about powertop on Reddit, openSUSE section Reddit - Dive into anything You can try post there because he will probably see it.
