Hello,
I have KDE 4.2 RC1 on openSUSE 11.0 . everything works fine, only when
i want to add widgets to my plasma workspace, it crashes regardless of
the widget. please help!!!

Maybe he is a hobby-Linux user. Why to install Gigs of Linux stuff if
you don’t use it? 
So, what to do?
Are you tried to rename your .kde4 directory to .kdeold. You said that
this is a live-cs. Have you checked the md5 checksum for the
installation media?

it was solved by upgrading KDE 4.2 RC to 4.2. thanks

I am not sure… Plasma work well in my 64-bit-pc but not my
32-bit-pc…
I use openSuse 11.1 and KDE 4.2+couple update.
and I have new-named .kde4 to old, but not helping
plasmoid-list come out to see well, but I will try anuone they jam up
and I much reloud KDE (4.2)… in my 32-bit-pc

Yes, it seems that’s solved in 4.2, if it’s still not working try moving
the plasmoid directly from the list to the desktop, that doesn’t crash
plasma.
