My upgrade went quite smooth overall, but I’ve been bitten by this issue:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=480380
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=480151
Wonder if I’m in good company, and if so, if anyone’s figured out a workaround to having to provide the kwallet password every time I login just to reconnect to WiFi…
Thanks

Yes, I see the same problem on an upgraded Tumbleweed. However, it is fine on a clean install of Krypton, so presumably it is fixable.

I wonder if I should try deleting my wallet and recreating it from scratch at this point…
If you have full disk encryption (FDE), then it’s safe enough to set a blank password for the keyring.
Same problem here. Good to know it’s a known bug, it means it will get fixed sooner or later.
Do we need to report a bug to opensuse?

Great to see it’s been worked on already!
I guess I’ll refrain from installing the pam_kwallet6 package, and just wait for a future snapshot to fix this.
I’ll unlock my wallet manually until then, no biggie.
It’s ok since I updated to snapshot 20240315.
Thanks!
I’d like to set this as the solution to this problem and close the thread
(if mods are reading
I couldn’t find a way to do it myself )
