piklab and Icd2 (permission denied)

Hello all,

I have a little problem with my Icd2 and piklab in OpenSuse 11.0

I can’t use my Icd in normal user, the error message is the following:

Connecting ICD2 Programmer on USB Port with device 18F4550…
USB Port: Error resetting USB device. (err=could not reset: Operation not permitted).

Piklab and my Icd2 works perfectly in root.

How can I obtain the permission to use my Icd2 in piklab?

Note: All work perfectly in Gentoo with basic install (stage 3, user in groups: audio, cdrom, floppy, games, portage, usb, plugdev, video et wheel)

Note2: plugdev and usb groups doesn’t exist, I have created this 2 groups with 1005 and 85 gid and add my user but this doesn’t…)

Nobody can help me?

you have to create a rule depend of the ID and other specification of your device ( for security of permission , and restrict the rule just for your programmer )
I 'm french so the HOWTO I use is :
piklab - Documentation Ubuntu Francophone

connect the device , tape lsusb (root) for see specs of your device
and create the rule in the /etc/udev/rules.d folder with them .
restart the udev server , and enjoy !!
