opensuse 42.3
Does anyone know why the version of PERL in 42.3 is still at v5.18.2? The current stable release is v5.26.
I note that Tumbleweed distributes v5.24. It is not a trivial change to use that repo for PERL.
because LEAP 42.3 is based on SLE 12sp3 which is an enterprise level OS and does not come with the latest software
if you need an extra module you could try the perl repo
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/perl/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/
or move to TW or get the sources and compile and install it in /usr/local/
