Hey, I’m desperately trying to get pearpc up on 11.0. I’ve been trying for a while, actually. i’ve tried every arg possible with konsole, every thing I can think of, can anybody help me?
Here’s what I get when I try to run the config file:
> ./configure
checking build system type… configure: error: cannot guess build type; you must specify one
does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you looked here, just select 11 in the dropdown?
Search?
Now normally if you run ./configure --help it will tell you the
options and formats or look at the readmes.

yeah… i’ve tried the --help
and looked at all the options
tried all of that. it still gives me the same message

do you read what the folks here trying to help you write?
i ask, because Malcolm’s url points you to a place where you can
install PearPC v 0.4-4.41 directly from rpm WITHOUT compiling
anything, or even reading --help…

oh. i didn’t realize that’s what that was haha i thought it was the same thing. well thanks then, when i get home i’ll give that a spin
