Is there a date of any relese of nicotine+ or soulseek soon? iv’e been away from linux distributions for some reasons but im intersted again and i’m running suse 42 and very glad to see it going that good, some things new and some missing but seems safe. I hope don’t get late putting it together again.

If you’re looking for some niche applications you’re best bet is to search here
Keep in mind that there is a button to the right of search that allows to search for packages build by users in their home repositories(at least in the past it did).
I don’t think you will get any release date. For sure it will be faster to compile from source yourself or create your own packages
