Optimising KDE: deleting Akonadi

For KDE on device with 2 GiB of RAM I uninstalled Akonadi.

For KDE 5 this frees up:

  1. ~ 300 MiB RAM
  2. ~ 108 MiB VRAM
  3. ~ 400 MiB disk space

For me this is good :+1:

I als uninstalled Akonadi on Leap 16.0 + KDE 6.

I do the same Akonadi removal, plus all the KDE PIM apps, because I never use them.

Yes, I also deleted all the KDE PIM apps (Kontact? Kalendar? Something else - not remember, just delete).
