opensuse KDE Telepathy

I am not looking for a long explanation on this one, but I googled and
could not quite figure out what it is. What exactly is the KDE Telepathy
repository for? It seemed from what I could find that Telepathy is a
version or something of KDE that specializes in audio and visual calls?
Why would I want to use the KDE Telepathy repo instead of the core
packages repo? Or can you use both?

Thanks

KDE Telepathy is a Instant Messaging suite for KDE, see
http://dot.kde.org/2012/06/11/new-kde-telepathy-version-features-audio-and-video-calls

[found as second hit with this google:
https://www.google.com/search?q=KDE+Telepathy&aq=f&oq=KDE+Telepathy]

so, to answer your question: as it is only one application which runs in
KDE, you would not want to use that repo instead of the core KDE repos…

I think the reason is that telepathy is not included in the base KDE repo or if it is included now it wasn’t few months ago.
