OpenSuse Equivalent of texlive-full?

Hello,

I recently re-installed my laptop, I am trying to access some of my old .tex files, but I can’t because I am missing too many packages.

I see that I cannot do sudo zypper in texlive-* or
sudo zypper in texlive-full

is there any way to get EVERYTHING I need for Latex in one package?

It isn’t going to be one package.

If you use Yast software management, and search for “latex”, then selecting “latex” should bring in most of what you need – unless you have turned of recommends. Maybe you have to tell it to include recommends at least for that one Yast software management session.

At one time, “texlive” was a huge package. For 12.3 and later, it became a gazillion small packages.

Basically, I need over 300 packages, and there is no way I will go through them manually.

I did find a small solution:

texlive-scheme-full
texlive-collection-latex

seems to cover what I need so far.

In practice the separate packages in the openSUSE repo are grouped and so, if you select only one from a particular group, you will pull down all the rest of the group. It is not as tedious as you might think as long as you know what you are looking for.
