openSuSE 13.1 Sleep does not work anymore

Hi,
I have a fresh 13.1 install on my HP 635 Notebook.
Automatic suspend ist set to on.
In 12.3 It worked like a charm, just pressed a key and the Notebook was back from sleep.

When I now leave my Notebook alone and return I have a blank screen, yes, as it should,
but the PC is running fan cooles and does not sound like sleep.

I press a key and have this strange curtain - what you have to move up - with a clock on it.
After I move that to see the Gnome Desktop I have 3 seconds and the notebook suspends.

So, I blame this curtain clock for keepng the NB running that it can not suspend.

Does anyone know how do I disable that?
Or does anyone have a solution or a hint?
