openSuSE 11 doesnt recognize my ethernet device

My lap is HP pavilion dv5-1017.

It seems openSuSE 11 doesnt recognize my ethernet device though openSuSE 10.3 does it.

Any idea how to install/fix this ?

PD. Its shocked that later version of openSuSE is more stable on this issue than a newer version.

Supportability team is making something else …

Although your device is not recorded - I suspect it will work. Scroll to the Intel section and see what other have been doing, the nearest device to yours may be the best place to start.
