I have a VM running OpenBSD 7.5 amd64 on two different hosts running Tumbleweed. Recently, the OpenBSD VM started crashing during startup (of the VM, while the OpenBSD kernel is initializing), on both host machines. I upgraded both VMs to OpenBSD 7.5 as soon as it was released, but that was a while ago. For good measure, I have two more VMs running OpenBSD 7.5 under FreeBSD/bhyve as well as qemu/kvm on Debian 12, where they run without any issues.
The only log messages I get that seem to be related are the following, they don’t appear very helpful:
Mai 15 18:00:43 schwarzgeraet virtqemud[2221]: cannot parse process status data

Several other VMs on the Tumbleweed host run without problem (Debian Testing, FreeBSD 14, Gentoo, Haiku, Fedora 40). (The other Tumbleweed host only has the one OpenBSD VM.)
The host system on both machines is Tumbleweed amd64, with all the most recent updates installed.
Has anybody encountered similar issues, possibly even a solution/workaround?
Thank you very much for any insights!
