- Wayland instead of X11 simply exits back to SDDM.
- Same problem with 20251217, last worked with 20251016.
- Same problem regardless of kernel 6.12.58, 6.17.9, 6.12.65, 6.18.5.
- Same problem whether kernel module radeon or amdgpu.
- Same problem whether display driver radeon, amdgpu or modesetting.
- Same in multi-user.target using
WINDOWMANAGER=startplasma-x11 startx. - Same after emptying ~/.config/ and ~/.cache/, and regardless of user.
zypper vecleared Plasma, KDE, dbus and QT6.
journalctl --no-hostname -b -p3 adds these two lines between reaching SDDM and Plasma login has been attempted:

Could a seeming TDE misconfiguration stop a Plasma session from working? What else to try or look at?
