Online Update - all .dprm files have "wrong digest" warning.

Yes, there is a typographical error in the title. It’s .drpm, not .dprm. Sorry for the confusion. Anyway…

OpenSUSE 12.2. Trying to run Online Update this morning, and most (90% +) of the attempts are coming back with “Wrong Digest” warnings saying the checksums of the files don’t match expected values. Why would these values no longer match? What, if anything, can I do about it?

(Also, I can’t select the text in the warning dialog box with the mouse, which makes it a pain to reproduce the error message.)

My choice would be to abort.

It is a problem that when you abort during update, it seems to abort only that particular update. So you have to abort multiple times.

When that last happened to me, I tried again a few hours later and everything worked. My guess is that you are updating from a mirror that is not currently in a consistent state.

I manually forced a repository refresh of the update repository and that seems to have fixed the problem.
