OAFIID:GNOME_IndicatorApplet openSUSE 11.2

I just installed openSUSE 11.2.

After I login, I get this error message:

The panel encountered a problem while loading “OAFIID:GNOME_IndicatorApplet”.

Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?

The options are, “Don’t Delete”, and “Delete”.

What is this error message telling me? How do I fix whatever it is that is wrong?

Thanks.

Sorry, you’ll need to be more explicit with me. I don’t know what exactly I should do after reading that bug report.

In the bug report people said that with Ubuntu they used aptitude to install a package called “indicator-applet”, and that fixed their problem. But, I’m running openSUSE, and aptitude isn’t loaded. Plus, none of the usual openSUSE repositories has a package called indicator-applet.

Am I thinking about all this incorrectly?

Sorry.
I was indicating a Google search may help, that was just an example of what you might find.

What happens if you choose ‘Delete’ when you are given the option?

I haven’t tried that yet for fear of what that might do.

I’ll try that the next time.

May be an error occured during fresh installation,I advise you to Repair the installation when such unexpected problems do occur.Put in your Operating System DVD and after some steps when installing you will be asked To install,Upgrade, or Repair, choose repair.
If that is unapplicable, may your is not powerfull enough to handle gnome, try KDE is also powerfull.
