Nvidia driver install - tumbleweed 20241010

Hi guys,
I know this isn’t the brightest idea but i wamted to install nvidia drivers on opensuse tumbleweed.

The current version i am using is Tumbleweed 20241010

I follow the instruction given by suse but the kernel is never loaded when i try and check it with lsmod | grep nvidia.

I even tried to instakl with the latwst nvidia installer but it throws out /usr/linux/include/linucx/version.h does not exist.

I have tried to reinstall everything multiple times including the kernel packages and the nvidia ones.

I switched from an amd gpu and didn’t delete its drivers so that could be an issue but I cannot tell.

Does the kernel version need to be less recent?

Some additional info on the system
Kernel version: 6.11.2-1-default
Gpu: rtx 3060
Cpu: ryzen 5 2600

If any other information is needed i can provide it baring in mind i can’t boot into an UI.

Excuses for typos it was typed on a phone and I fatfingered a lot.

Got it to work, just updated the system and that rebuild the kernel files and now it works on the latest kernel, also runs suprisingly smooth.
