Today my Opensuse Tumbleweed installation is updated to kernel 4.0.3 and Plasma 5.3. After this update I could not start a terminal in super user mode. Each time I click to the su terminal icon a user bash pops up. Is it a bug or a feature?

Hi
This is the wrong forum for Tumbleweed
Will temporarily close and move, nntp users hold off until the move.
Hi
Thread moved and reopened…
I think its a bug.
I am seeing the following command being run:
/usr/bin/konsole --profile Root
but there is no predefined profile named “Root”.
Yes, it is a bug:
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=908029
And actually it always was an openSUSE specific feature.
Sorry for not fixing this yet, one of the minor issues that got forgotten…
As a workaround you can copy over the profile as mentioned in the bug report, or create a profile yourself that just runs “su -”, that’s just what that profile did.
Hello.
Tested and works in plasma 5 , or there is that copy Root Shell.profile which is located in /usr/share/kde4/apps/konsole/ and put it in /usr/share/konsole/ and that already works console in super user mode in plasma 5 .
