Is there a solution now?
The examples are installed under /usr/lib64/qt6/examples/
The settings in qr creator are correct:

I don’t use that package, so my comment might be off mark. The post you linked complains that “there is no CMakeLists.txt file for any example.” but I see several CMakeLists.txt in the current qt6-base-examples-6.9.1-2.1, for instance /usr/lib64/qt6/examples/opengl/cube/CMakeLists.txt so at least the problem is not the same.
Yes, you are right, the problems are not exactly the same. The title describe the same problem. No examples in the welcome screen.
