no autologin even though its enabled 11.2

dont know why i cant autologin, but the funny thing is sometimes it autologin but mostly not. is that a bug? or i should do something more?

Please check output of:
grep AUTO /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager

It should say this:
DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOLOGIN=“your username here”

DISPLAYMANAGER_AUTOLOGIN is empty.

But…it should work, or it shouldn’t. Not once in a while.

If your username is not stated on the AUTOLOGIN line, start Yast, System, /etc/sysconfigeditor. Search for AUTOLOGIN and enter your username as the new value. Save and exit. On next reboot it should work.
If not, get back here and we’ll try to help you. Be nice then, and post info about your system, openSUSE version, desktop, 32/64 bit.
