Hey everyone I am not sure if this should go in the gaming category or not. However I am having problems running any type of game in Steam using proton. Every game I try running it simply will not run.
System Specs:
How are your compatibility settings in steam? Steam play should be enabled for all titles. “Other titels” should be on Proton experimental.
Steam play is enabled for all titles. I have tried multiple proton versions as well. This is also just not 1 single game. Its multiple games.
I would also like to note. I recently had a pc with a rx 7700xt running the same os/kernel version and everything worked. So I dont know if this is a gpu problem, driver problem or not.
Did you try to start a game via the terminal and watched the output for any clues?
You can get the needed terminal command from the desktop shortcut (right click-> properties->program)
