New hplip version stops my printer HP Laserjet CP1025 - HOW can I install the plugin?

A few weeks ago, hplip 3.20.11 was replaced by hplip 3.21.10 .
Our printer is a HP Laserjet CP1025, that requires a proprietary plugin, a so-called “dongle”, named hplip-3.20.11-plugin.run .
So, when the printer refused to print with the new hplip version, we downloaded the new plugin hplip-3.21.10-plugin.run .
BUT: no way to install that new plugin !!!
Former version was easy: you install hplip, you configure the printer, you try to print something and it asks for the plugin, which you indicate, and it gets installed and the printer works.
But now? It does NOT ask for the plugin, and simply tells you that the necessary plugin is missing.
How can I integrate that plugin when I am not asked to do that?
For the moment I have re-installed the former hplip version (3.20.11) and blocked hplip updates. But I am sure some way must exist to integrate the new plugin …
Thanks for any helpful suggestions!

Hi
As your user, run;

wget https://developers.hp.com/sites/default/files/hplip-3.21.10-plugin.run -O hplip-3.21.10-plugin.run

wget https://developers.hp.com/sites/default/files/hplip-3.21.10-plugin.run.asc -O hplip-3.21.10-plugin.run.asc

hp-plugin -i -p .

Thanks, I’ll try that (I suppose the second line needs two times .asc, though) !

Hi
Yes, I corrected my original

IT WORKED ! Flawlessly! I am so thankful!

Similar problem with LJ Pro M283. hp-setup shows that the driver fits all models from 282 to 285 so 283 is not listed separately–which may explain why I couldn’t fine it
Thanks
