new boot error messages (i2c)

Hi all :slight_smile:
during boot I get several lines on the screen repeating the following error message:

i2c_hid i2c_SYB1b7F:00: failed to retrieve report to device

Please what can I do to fix it?

ok still don’t know when you see these lines. Just from the lines it looks like some hardware is failing to initialize.Does the boot stop there?

System boots fine and everything seems fine (I just didn’t test the Ethernet adapter)

If you google “i2c_hid” or "i2c_hid device"you will find a lot of hits. It seems to be the name of a bus used for connecting some devices such as touch-screen and touchpad. Maybe you will find a page where somebody has a similar problem.
