is there anyway to solve it permanently?after “Limiting TX power” , i can’t connect anything.

Does that mean that before this message you can connect things?

Is this system acting as Access Point (AP) or is it try to connect to an AP?

Please take a look at the output of the WLAN/WiFi tools – “iwlist txpower” and “iwconfig”.
The reason why the Ty power is being reduced may be caused either with “rfkill” or, “iwconfig txpower «value»” – normally “iwconfig txpower auto” should be used.

yes, i can connect things before that message.
my computer just try to connect to an AP,not acting as Access Point.

@herokillerj:

It seems that, the 5 GHz WLAN has some issues –

  • Tx – “Invalid misc:45”
  • wlan0 – “unknown transmit-power information.”
  • Encryption key:off

Does the 5 GHz WLAN use encryption?

  • Does the access point expect WPA (2 or 3) encryption?

Do you have access to a 2,4 GHz WLAN?

  • If there is one available, can you connect to it?
    *=2]With encryption if needed …

Do “iwlist auth” and “iwlist wpakeys” indicate anything?

  1. Does the 5 GHz WLAN use encryption?
    – yes, i choose the personal wpa/wpa2 and use kde wallet to save the password

  2. Do you have access to a 2,4 GHz WLAN?
    – yes,i can connect to 2,4 GHz WLAN,same encryption with 5G

  3. Do “iwlist auth” and “iwlist wpakeys” indicate anything?

admin@localhost:~> sudo iwlist auth
lo no authentication information.

wlan0 Authentication capabilities :
                WPA
                WPA2
                CIPHER-TKIP
                CIPHER-CCMP

eth0 no authentication information.

xdroid0 no authentication information.

admin@localhost:~> sudo iwlist wpakeys
lo no wpa key information.

wlan0 2 key sizes : 40, 104bits
          4 keys available :
Error reading wpa keys (SIOCGIWENCODEEXT): Operation not supported

eth0 no wpa key information.

xdroid0 no wpa key information.

The WiFi/WLAN hardware seems to have an issue here –

Error reading wpa keys (SIOCGIWENCODEEXT): Operation not supported

Which begs the question –

  • Do you have the “wpa_supplicant” package installed?

yes i do.

admin@localhost:~> sudo zypper se -i wpa_supplicant
