network problems in 64 Bit

To the computer world I am not new but to 64Bit I am. When I try to surf the net lets say I.e skype.com I can’t get skype cause I can only go to one page any other page is off limits or lets say Ektoplasm.com I can only get to one page and there are countless others to explore but my nic card which is a Realtek r8111/8168 and the driver loaded is r8169 so maybe I have been doing this the wrong way or looking in all the wrong places for an answer which may be right in front of me. My system is a Acer aspire x1920 using the built in Nic card which is as previously discussed is a Realtek r8111/8168. If anyone has this setup or problem please fill me in on how to fix it or what steps have been taken to try and remedy the situation. I can’t be the only one with this setup or computer. So any help would be much needed.

You network device seems fine

You likely have a DNS problem
Try switching to Google DNS
