Network Manager won't autostart after upgrade 11.2 to 11.3

Hi:

I’m having a problem since my last upgrade from 11.2 to 11.3 (Gnome).

Before the upgrade NetworkManager would run just fine at start up, now I have to explicitly run the command from a console using the root user to start it. Any help?

(My problem is the same as this one, only in gnome instead of kde)

Hi:

I’ve been testing some stuff and I think the problem is that the logged in user can’t run NM. I don’t know why that might be, since it was working fine on 11.2 and before…

I had installed wicd but I couldn’t get it to work either, so I removed it. Also I removed NM and re installed it, but now I lost the icon (nm-applet) :frowning:
