I’m not sure if this issue is related to plasma 5.7.3 or some other update . . .
but as of a couple of days ago I am being prompted to enter my wifi password on every boot.
If I go into network manager settings > my connection > edit > wifi security, the password field is empty.
I enter the password and select “store password for this user only (encryted)”
but on reboot I am prompted to enter my password again. The “store password” did not stick.
If instead I select “store password and make it available for all users (unencrypted)” and reboot, the password is remembered and I am not prompted to enter it.
What has happened here?
Some kind of bug / policy change / network manager change?
as you can see below kwallet is enabled but the wallet manager is blank. Left is kwalletmanager5 and right I assume is the KDE 4 version.
If I select to add a new wallet and give it a name absolutely nothing happens.
Am I missing something here? Is my wallet broken?
there does seem to be a problem.
This is what konsole report

incidentally . . . is there some problem with susepaste.
I had to upload the image above using my dropbox account.
Trying to add the image to susepaste - it reports “the language field must have a value” - but there are no values to select in the language field.
farcus@linux-jc9u:~> kwalletd5
kwalletd5: error while loading shared libraries: libKF5Gpgmepp.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ahhh . . . . that has fixed things up.
package was already installed but a forced reinstall has solved the problem.
I can now view the contents of kwalletmanager5.
