I like music most Trash/Power/Speed Metal. Music is a feature of person and a identity of his world. Anyway I want to ask you what kind of Music do you listen?

My music is like this:

by the way, there is already a thread named “Currently listening to?”
in the survey-polls forum…perhaps someone would ask a moderator that
this redundant thread be joined with the other, here:

Not really the same subject, this is “what do you like”, not “what are
you listening to”.

I prefer classical - baroque or romantic period mostly, though some
modern classical is good. Also movie scores are amongst my favourites,
John Williams (though his music tends to sound very ‘samey’ across
scores), Randy Edelmann, Steve Jablonsky, Nicholas Hopper, Howard Shore,
etc.

I also like a lot of electronic music - Mannheim Steamroller, Vangelis,
Kitaro, Enya, etc. Ambient or energetic as the mood strikes me.

My favorites are :

  1. Nirvana
  2. Metallica
  3. Red Hot Chilli Peppers
  4. Dżem (legendary polish blues band)
  5. Living Colour
  6. The Prodigy
  7. No Doubt
  8. Creed

Generally most of the music that has got some nice guitar or bass parts in it is something I will most likely enjoy.

I also quite like Chopin but I have to be in the right mood

Best regards,
Greg

I like Metallica, Megadeth, Distruction, Nuclear Assault, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Grave Digger, Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Overkill, Manilla Road. All heavy metal legends of 80s

That must’ve been cool. One of my favourites is their album that
includes performances of Russlan and Ludmilla (and other Russian music),
and then there’s the national parks one (I’ll have to check it in the
other room tomorrow).

I used to be referred to as “Jim the Mime” on a local radio programme
that specialized in electronic music. I actually hold an amateur radio
license (probably mentioned it before), but I would only very rarely
actually say something on-air during the show. It became a part of the
programme’s schtick - Scott would ask me a question, and I’d nod or shake
my head in answer to the question, and he’d ad-lib something to cover for
the fact that even though there was a mic in front of me, I wasn’t saying
anything.

On that show, we played a lot of different things, and I got to know
quite a few new musicians (not in person, but their music) because of it.

Yes indeed, I do. On his albums, he typically just goes by his first
name here in the US.

I like Vangelis. I listen him when I go to bed.

Joan is a classic–lots and lots of good stuff…

on the other hand, Nancy was a one-hit-wonder.
