MS2 Media Question

I downloaded the 64 bit version of 11.3 MS2. Burned a dvd with K3B
using downloaded iso. Checked md5sum and sha1sum - were OK. Booted
system and ran Media check. Almost immediately says checksum bad,
media no good. I then ran the media check from YaST. It reports
check successful - Media verified.

Is the media OK to use? It does go on <if I give OK or error> and
load the Linux and come up at the first console screen.

Thanks.

Try it out. I always run md5sum. If it checks out, I proceed with the installation.

I wouldn’t run a media check within Milestone 2 as it is full of bugs.

Good Luck!
