I have easily transfered files from Linux partition to Win partition using other distros. I find that with suse I can still view other partitions - but when I try to move or copy the file over it tells me it can’t do it. What needs to be configured with suse to accomplish this ?

Search the forum for ‘ntfs3g’ or making your partition writable. It
would also help if you included your opensuse version, the error you get
when trying to copy/move files, etc. As it is I have to assume you
don’t have your computer turned on. :-p

…went to re-do the same procedure to quote the error message and for some reason the file passed fine to the win partition without a glitch. Don’t understand why it was not doing it before and now works without altering anything :\
