mouse drivers for linux

Hi all,
Just wondering if there are any Microsoft mouse drivers for Open Suse Linux.
At the moment I got a Microsoft basic optical mouse and it runs perfect on Windows
In OS it feels really different in games.
Its not a getting used to feel.
On the other hand whats a good basic optical mouse for Linux gaming
Which includes drivers for Linux?

Mouse support is included in the kernel and in the Xorg server.

Perhaps if you describe the problem you’re seeing and provide information
(like the verison of openSUSE you’re using), someone will be able to
assist you.

Did you look at System Setting → Hardware → Input Devices →
Mouse and see if any of the settings there will help? Also Yast Need
Root permissions)–> Hardware → Mouse on Text Console. You can
choose sever different Microsoft Mice.

Thiese may help you. But the best thing is to say what OS version,
Desktop and mouse type you have.

the mouse ingame feels much smoother with the microsoft intellimouse.

is it too fast ?
too slow ?
is there by chance some shedded cat fur in the mouse censer ( if you have a cat you WILL know about that )

No idea.
Mouse in Linux are just things to move the pointer, not gamer gadgets.

Im currently running microsoft intelli mouse 3 button wheel COM1
driver

Go to you desktop setting (where depends on you desktop KDE/Gnome/etc) and adjust the speed.

In KDE it is COnfigure Desktop -input devices- mouse-advanced
