I am using OpenSuse 13.2 with KDE, I have the latest drivers installed for my Radeon HD 6450 graphics card from https://www.sebastian-siebert.de/#download Yet… After doing all of this, Minecraft still continues to run extremely slow. On Windows I got around 100fps on average with Vsync disabled, a solid 60 with Vsync enabled, but now I am getting a very unstable 20-60fps, it is terrible. Any ideas?

Which version of Minecraft are you using?
I had a similar problem when my normal “profile” was set to using “The latest
Version” or snapshot and had d/loaded a unstable one, I just told it to
specifically use 1.8.8 and all was back to normal, may be your prob or not.
This is on a Tosh lappy though with a lowly Intel chipset.
