Greetings,
I am trying out kalpa after some initial bumps. Now I would like to use kdeconnect but it is missing in system settings menu. A search in discovery has no kdeconnect listed. It is suppose to be included with plasma (6)?
Thank you

It has been in the repos for years. Just install it.
Doesn’t show up in discover search
I am on kalpa…
sudo transactional-update --continue pkg in kdeconnect-kde
And reboot`
Had it running already. You are faster with posting the solution. Thank you
Well, Kalpa is using Tumbleweed repositories. It is quite possible that installation of normal packages (not flatpaks) is blocked on MicroOS and derivatives. But your post sounded likely only KDE Connect is missing, not anything else.
Kalpa doesn’t block the installation of anything, no matter how bad an idea it might be
On kalpa , discover is a frontend for flathub. if you want to install rpm packages you have to use transactional-update.
