I recently resurrected a secondary laptop, an ancient ASUS-X501A, with openSUSE Leap 16, and I’m honestly amazed by how fluid it feels. Even with just 4GB of RAM, Gnome 48 is surprisingly fast, handling my simple daily tasks (web browsing, email, etc.) without any problem. I tried to keep Gnome as much vanilla as I could, despite I ended installing a few extensions though… A massive thank you to the devs and maintainers for your incredible work!
