I also spent the last days customizing, but now I am in bliss

KDE looks very nice on your systems @Bird and @tuatara . I didn’t know the status bar could be put up top and the dock at the bottom . Personally with a widescreen display my choice would be to have the dock at the side like Ubuntu to save on the precious vertical real estate!

Cool!
I find it more comfortable to have wider, horizontal bars to click on when working with many windows, especially from the same program. The text title/description also helps. Icons-only can be a bit fiddly
