I read this post that was closed last March to make Wayland the default at startup instead of X11, but I couldn’t make it work. I followed the steps and installed lightdm but there was no startup/shutdown settings for me to configure, and lightdm had no option to switch to Wayland.
Are these instructions outdated? If so does anyone know how to do this with Plasma 6.1.4?
