Making mouse settings permanent (xset m)

hi,
in order to increase the speed of my mouse on OpenSuse 12.1, i did “xset 15 1” from konsole. however when i reboot, those changes are not permanent.
how do i make the changes permanent? do the config files have to be changed (root/etc/X11). any help would be appreciated!

AFAIK this can be set in both KDE and GNOME.
The config files for the Xserver are not in /root/etc/X11, they’re in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d

thank you for the reply. i’m still a bit confused as to which file i have to enter the “xset m 15 1” command into. any help would be appreciated!
