Making Avery labels on OpenSuse

Hey all,

I want to print off some avery labels.

When I had a Windows machine, It was through Office Word that I would create/print my avery labels.

What can I use to create/print Avery labels?

I can’t seem to find the avery labelmaker in OpenOffice. I did find the envelope maker.

Thanks

Heeter

IIRC some free label templates were announced for OpenOffice a while back. Sorry, I don’t print labels so I couldn’t tell you where, but I’m sure it will turn up in a search. Ah, here’s one turned up by the search “avery openoffice”:

Using and Customizing Templates in OpenOffice.org | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials

and the company that gives out the templates is worldlabel.

Hi
Google is your friend…

It’s obscured.

Go to Applicatons->Office->Office Suite (that’s the OOo frontend).

Labels… then you can select Avery whatever…

Tying that into a database or spreadsheet to fill in values…
the next lesson (which means I remember it not being intuitive
but possible).

HA!!

Even sweeter

Thanks a whole bunch

Can’t wait for the next lesson, spreadsheet autofill.

Thanks a million, cjcox
