Hello Forum,
In my system i have a lvm group named vg_tamagotchi with 8 lvm partitions. Now, i try to mount a usb device, that have also a lvm group named vg_tamabackup that have also 8 lvm partitions.
Now, i try to add the vg vg_tamabackup to my system with the “lvchange -ay /dev/vg_tamabackup” command.
But i can’t see any changes.
If i use “lvchange -an /dev/vg_tamabackup” i lose the mapping from the vg vg_tamagotchi that are not aktive mounted in my system!!!
- Why???
So, i try again an run the command “lvchange -ay /dev/vg_tamabackup”. Now, i see some devices from the vg_tamabackup, but not all. I see only thise devices that are mapped to the free (losen /dev/dm-? from the command above) /dev/dm-?
- Is this a DM Problem?
