Logitech gamepad not detected by Flatpak game

Hi, openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250217 with KDE installed. I am having some problems with a Flatpak game named C-Dogs SDL not detecting the Logitech usb gamepad controller here.

I passed in Konsole: sudo journalctl -b | grep 'controllers' and received six lines almost identical as follows: localhost.localdomain flatpak[8898[: 202502184232 INFO [INPUT] [joystick.c:60] JoyInit(): 0 controllers found.

lsusb shows: Bus 002 Device 008: ID 046d:c216 Logitech, Imc. F310 Gamepad [DirectInput Mode]

KDE system settings > game controller > Device: Logitech Dual Action 9/dev/input/event14) is detected.

Is something wrong with SDL2 on the machine? How can the controller be recognized by the Flatpak game?
