List of mirrors for repositories

Are there lists of mirrors for the repositories - I only found some for Packman. Sometimes the upgrades go on for hours (or days if I don’t interrupt and try later when it is hopefully better - see http://susepaste.org/40719115). It does not look like it but I am directly on a fibre connection…

You need to search through the factory mirrors for the tumbleweed ones;

Thanks, malcolmlewis, but if I look through the list there is e.g. only one server in NZ and that is WxC - if I go to the link there is just the WxC website - is that really a mirror? Other links in Australia show web hosting etc. but nothing about mirroring the repos. I would like to replace the OS, nonOS, etc tumbleweed repos with some links closer to home (or at least faster). Of course I can look through some of the options and try them out but I must say that packman has a much better display if its mirrors.

Unfortunately, mirrors are controlled by the owners… I suggest you contact them direct and ask if they can mirror (as an ex-pat NZer :wink: ) I would have thought Waikato University would probably mirror for folks there, else contact Xnet?

With changes from factory to tumbleweed, some things slip through the cracks if end users don’t contact the mirror owners to add the tumbleweed directory.
