Hello,

I am trying access to linux partitions from Windows XP SP3. However with the software explore2fs 1.07 it is not possible.

Anyone knows how can I access to linux partitions from Windows???

Thanks

Hi
Have a look here, it will access ext2 and ext3 partitions.

I think it will not work any longer.
They changed the inode size in Ext3 based partitions which means that such software no linger works.

It was indicated in the release notes.

I think that the software

Ext2 IFS For Windows

doesn’t work very well with Linux Ext3 volumes.

Anyone knows how to access linux partitions from windows XP SP3???

thanks

I have been using this tool for the past couple of years:
Explore2fs HomePage

Development seems to have halted but… the thing works quite reliably IMHO. Lets you transfer files and folders from your ext2/ext3 partitions. I don’t trust it with write access though.
Maybe it’s what you 're looking for…
