Is a general linux terminal command guide out there anywhere? Please do provide the link.
You provide commands through a shell. The bash being the most used by Linux people. So **man bash **is a good starter to learn how bash commands look like. And using 'learn bash" in Google brings you a lot of tutorial material.
For the commands themself man <command> should tell you most you want. Again "learn linux commands’ in Google. (or are you afraid of Google?).
Personaly I still use the HP-UX Reference Release 10.0, but that is not of much use to you.
