libz.a 11.2 32bit

I’m searching for libz.a in suse 11.2 32 bit.
while theres one in the 64 bit distri.

yes sure i’ve installed the devel package.

(i need it to compile a static mysql server)

rpm provides for: libz.a

gives: zlib-devel-static

ok, thanks. i found it now on download.opensuse.org .
this is not included on the DVD, while the 64 bit Suse has got libz.a :\
