Libpipewire-module-roc-sink on slowroll

Hello, i discover “libpipewire-module-roc-sink” in debian and raspiOS as great tool for Network-audio, the usage as Virtual Sound card in KDE tray is great.

I did not found it in OpenSuse, only “https://software.opensuse.org/package/roc-toolkit”.
That works fine, i find no hint to use it as Virtual Sound card in KDE.

So i install it from source, with roc-toolkit, openfec, pipewire and it works fine.

I try to make it as rpm and don’t get it right. i am a old Audio-engineer not a programmer.
I use Suse since 1998 and love it.

All docs i found are outdated and don’t work with my lack of experience.

I need a hint to start the rpm build and make it usable for the community.
or anyone how include it in opensuse.

All i have a shell script that do all steps to compile from source.
If help full i can share it here.

Welcome to these forums.

  1. Don’t use packages from home: or devel: repos.
  2. Always provide as much “real” info as you can.
  3. If it is computer text/output, don’t post screenshots, use copy-paste
  4. Make sure such text/output is posted in pre-formatted text. You can use the </> in the editor window for that.

A bugreport against the pipewire source package is needed. From this source package, pipewire-modules-0_3 is build. It contains the complete documentation/man pages for libpipewire-module-roc-sink, but not the module itself.

Where ? my search bring no clarity of the real point in Opensuse buid system.

is rpm-build the right tool?
