New machine 1TB HDD -EFI- Windows 10.
I installed Leap 15.4 on the drive(see image).

Leap is there. but apparently Grub isn’t after the first start complete start. It reverts to starting Win10.
I am sorry I can’t get you a fdisk -l and a lsblk output.

Can I reset or reinstall Grub2 from the rescue system on the USB-install stick? If so, HOW?

I am just having a hard time getting Grub to show at boot.

Let me know what I can do, and I will if I can. Right now Win10 is the only thing that boots.
I tried resetting the boot menu in a live version of Mint, but keep getting an error about /boot/efi partition.

Enter UEFI and check Boot Menu for leap.

Why? You can boot another Linux, what prevents you from running these commands and showing results?

How?

What error? Show full command and complete output. Also show output of fdisk -l and efibootmgr -v.

Start your machine and hit ESC or F12 or know what your machine’s shortcut to bios and look for UEFI boot to opensuse. When you are able to, go to yast2-boot loader and fix how you boot .

Re-installing again. This time I made sure there is a /boot/efi partition.
Well see……

yep, adding a /boot/efi partition ‘seems’ to make it right again.
But, I will hold complete judgement of that until after a few weeks.

Thanks to all that responded.
