There’s a little confusion about openSUSE version on the last version of Firefox under Leap 16 :

As you can check here it is the same source built for Tumbleweed and Leap 16 (and Leap 15.6).

I thought the ESR version was specific to Leap… sorry for the noise.

This is a bug in the MozillaFirefox-branding-openSUSE package. It was not adjusted to account for Leap 16:

  # Tumbleweed
  %global suseversion Tumbleweed
%endif

Open bug report.

It is the same source for Tumbleweed and Leap. Build happens in different environments.
